Be Prolific*

I have a couple of small FOs to share today - both are Nerd Wars submissions and I have been practicing my crochet *smiles* As I tend to do little projects for Nerd Wars it seems like a good place to test out my crochet skills and see if I can improve them.

First up, I made a set of coasters. Not the most thrilling of projects, I know, but they came out exactly as intended and I'm really pleased with them!

Secondly,

I made a little bag/pouch. I made it up as I went along and it worked perfectly *grins*

So, small projects but definite improvements in my ability to crochet things and actually get the desired result. I'm calling it a win *laughs*

It's Friday, so you know what to do... Visit Tami'sNatural Suburbia and Wisdom Begins in Wonder. Have a great weekend :)

  3. Oh, I didn't even think about coasters for crochet practice. Good Call!

The bag is adorable. Good for you. I've been submitting yarn for all of my R2 submissions. TdF has taken over my life.

  5. I love them both. Circles are not the easiest things to master when it comes to crochet, so well done.

I am thinking about a bag like that for a yarn holder for my wips.

  6. It's definitely a win! I like small projects because they don't cost much money, are finished in no time and looking at the finished project makes me extremely happy. I'm very much product-oriented (although I know the way should be the goal). ;-)

  14. I love that little bag---I need to make something similar to hold the new mouse I just bought my mom for her laptop, in fact.

And hooray for improving your crocheting, and for Nerd Wars, which I still want to join...someday...
