Someone Knows Who You Are*

As I mentioned yesterday, most of my knitting activity recently has focused on starting and finishing the Multi-coloured Swap Socks! But, I have been working on other things too...

My green cowl (thank you to everyone who has commented on the gorgeous colour of the yarn - cunning boyfriend has been very happy that the yarn he dyed has knitter/crocheter approval *laughs*). Coming along nicely, it's a project I pick up when I don't want to think about anything.

Boyfriend's second sock... This poor sock has been languishing for months. I finished the first one in time for his birthday. Which was in February. Ooops ;) But, I have finally finished the leg, so hopefully things will start to happen a bit faster now.

And, yes, that is something new on the right there *laughs* After the speedy sock knitting, I wanted something a bit chunkier to knit. But my red vest is not coming along the way I want it to (I'm not sure if it's going to get finished at this stage - I have a feeling it won't turn out right at all)... So, I cast on Concur.

I'm using Caron Simply Soft, which I picked up from Walmart when I was in Vegas. It really is incredibly soft! I've made some progress on the back and it is actually coming along pretty well at this stage.

As ever, if you want more lovely knitting and reading content, head to Tami's and Ginny's *smiles* I am lacking in the reading content this week as I haven't been reading much at all!

  12. The yarn is very nice and I have two socks languishing at the moment...CSS is very soft, but does tend to be splitty, so just be careful....

  14. Such pretty projects! I also have some socks that I'm struggling (ahem, too lazy) to finish, lets give those poor socks a little of our time and get them finished!

  16. I really like simply soft, it's my go to acrylic yarn.
I also love your purple socks, even if they are going slow. I bet if you just tell yourself you are going to keep knitting them, then they'll be done in no time.

  18. Caron Simply Soft *is* really soft. I mean, I'm happy I've learned about snootier yarns in the last year or so, because they're wonderful, but I still love Simply Soft, especially for blankets.

  19. That's a lovely pattern, and should be so comfortable in the simply soft! You have to go with your gut, and work on projects that are satisfying.

  20. Looks like a cool sweater pattern, but I hate working with simple soft. It always separates for me...both with knitting and crocheting; though more with crocheting. Lots of folks though love working with it.
