I have a hat *grins*
This picture does not really show off the hat *laughs*
That's a little better... If you ignore the raised eyebrow anyway ;)
So, details:
Pattern: F346 Coffee Beenz Hat, by Plymouth Yarn
Yarn: Universal Yarn Delux Worsted Tweed - received in a swap
Modifications: I knitted the brim in 2x1 ribbing instead of 2x2 because I prefer how it looks. Brim also done on slightly larger needles than pattern (however this was because the right size were in use and I was a bit lazy... It could actually do with being a little tighter round the brim... ooops)
Other Comments: I've never worn a hat like this, so I was a little dubious as I was knitting it just in case it really didn't suit me. Having said that, hats usually work for me so I decided to risk it *laughs* I'm pleased with it, I think it looks cute.
I had planned to use up the entire skein of yarn, but having such a small head means that I have loads left... Maybe I need to make some matching mitts *ponders*
I shall leave you with a gratuitous shot of the back, to show off the slouchiness, and remind you to check out the usual Friday haunts: Tami's, Natural Suburbia and Wisdom begins in Wonder.
Have a great weekend everyone :)
Oh, one more thing, anyone who stopped by last week and saw boyfriend's sock - I have posted a quick explanation of what a princess sole is, as a few commenters asked what it meant!
