Still Here... Honest!

It's been ages since I posted - I've honestly been so exhausted that I haven't really been crafting, let alone thinking of craft-related things to blog about *laughs*

I do have a finished object to share, but the size of it does demonstrate just how little I have been doing over the last week ;)

I made an apple cozy. It's for a nerd wars challenge, and I think it's actually pretty cute *smiles* Hopefully it will encourage me to remember to pack apples for work snacks, as they won't get bashed up on my bag (last time I packed a loose apple it ended up impaled on my house keys!)

You know the Friday drill - head over to Tami's and Wisdom Begins in Wonder for some proper FOs ;)

  1. Your apple cosy looks cute, and the colour of wool makes it look cute :)

Eek I feel bad for the impaled apple, hopefully it won't happen this time! :)

  4. It's lovely, I made one of these a few months ago and I love having a little bit of crochet in my bag to remind me that there is more in my life than work. Sounds silly but it works for me!

  5. I love apple cozies, but I'm not sure why. I knit one last year and it was adorable (a gift), yet I never made one for myself. You are right though, perhaps if I had something to pretty up my apple I would pack them more often!

  9. Mmm now I'm craving an apple. And it's just the perfect time of year. I need some sort of protection for the bananas I keep toting along with me :)

  10. Sort of like a helmet for an apple! You could also put a plastic-wrapped caramel or candy apple in it, for a gift!

I'm not a big fan of apples, unless they are in a pie!
